The corridor zones of buildings are generally seen as rather bland, functional components. This is the reason why we had the idea of routing the ceiling light channel through the walls and floor, thus creating a square spiral. The light channel has been constructed in an aluminium profile body with the use of laminated safety glass. This application fulfils the most rigorous requirements regarding straightness and flush installation. Additionally, T5 fluorescent lamps with digitally dimmable electronic ballast have been used in order to provide the creation of different lighting environments. Numerous ideas flew in this project to fulfil all requirements.
