Design: Mailänder Licht Design
The new Centre of Justice in Aachen has got a clear architecture. Simple structures, a high transparency and a clear division are essential characteristics for the new building. The lighting concept for traffic zones with linear wallwashers and square recessed luminaires with frosted glass for the workspaces follow the straightness of the architectural concept. The whole staircase is illuminated via customised recessed light channels which match the vertical as well as the horizontal lines of the part of the building. The light channel is a customised product by SPITLER and the edges are individual special solutions as well. The offices and conference rooms are designed with square recessed luminaires combined with frosted or micro prism diffusers. The image of the ceiling is clearly structured.
